CNN Spotlights Job Creation Through Energy Retrofits
National news segment profiles Efficiency First member and GreenHomes America partner Princeton Air
The message really seems to be sinking in nationally that home energy retrofitting is an effective way to put unemployed Americans back to work. Take a look at this report aired on CNN, featuring interviews with Scott Needham of New Jersey-based Princeton Air and Rick Fedrizzi of the U.S. Green Building Council:
The segment explains how Scott’s family-owned heating and air conditioning business responded to slumping sales by launching a Home Performance division in partnership with GreenHomes America. The division has already added eight workers to Princeton Air’s payroll at a time when many construction-related businesses are letting workers go. As Scott told CNN, “I think there is a huge opportunity to get the country fixed.”
