Greentech Media launches eight-part series on the future of residential energy retrofitting
Efficiency First President Matt Golden is the author of a new series of articles for the online news and research site Greentech Media. The series begins with an analysis of what’s wrong with most current government incentives, which overwhelmingly favor photovoltaic installations over basic efficiency measures. Future installments will explain the fundamentals of Home Performance retrofitting, propose alternative incentive structures that respect the “reduce, then produce” loading order, and address the sticky problem of scaling our industry to create jobs and achieve our national clean energy goals.
