Efficiency First

The first in a series of dispatches from the 2009 climate change summit sent to us by Amy L. Jarvis of Environmental Resources Management

Just wanted to give a quick note before I head off to get registered at the COP. Even though it is a cloudy day outside, I am positive that exciting things are going to happen here in Copenhagen. Even though the major political talks aren’t until next week, groups from around the world are showing their interest and cause by setting up displays showing why they are concerned about the shape of the climate. As the convention progresses, I am going to send quick blurbs each day about what is going on here and from my (U.S.) perspective of progress.

I will be standing in line most of the morning but I look forward to seeing from the “front lines” what the Bella Center and the other delegations have brought to further my education on their cause.
