All in all this is a good program EXCEPT that it puts the ENTIRE weight on the shoulders of the Contractor. If I understand this right…The Contractor pays the customer 50% before starting the job, buys all the materials, supplies and pays for all the labor, does all the paperwork, pays for all the education, certifications, bonds, insurances ALL to enjoy a 10-20% margin??? Contractor is into this 150% before getting a dime…
While congres is at it, it should come up with legislation to streamline
bancrupcy procedures for Contractors.
