Sometimes passing legislation in Congress is two steps forward, with one step back in between. That’s what the HOME STAR campaign has been like– steady and strong progress, but too many delays along the way.

Even through this long process, HOME STAR still has strong support, and the current state of our economy means that HOME STAR is more important than ever. Recently we’ve been working with Efficiency First members in targeted states to show support for the bill. And now that Senators are coming back to DC, it’s time to ramp up our efforts.

Join us tomorrow, September 8, at 11:30am Eastern for a special conference call with Congressman Peter Welch, then participate in tomorrow’s National HOME STAR Call-In Day.
