Petition to CEC and CPUC: Improve Energy Upgrade California

Efficiency First California has submitted letters to the California Energy Commission and Public Utilities Commission, making specific recommendations for program improvements on program delays, rebate levels, financing, software, marketing plans and more.

Energy Upgrade California Whole House Program

This new Home Performance Incentive Program is a collaboration between Public Utilities Commission, Energy Commission, utilities, local governments and private sectors. California Training Reimbursement Grants

Efficiency First has grant funding available for significant training reimbursements for California Efficiency First members. Click here for more information.

  • Support PACE financing program: Continue to collect suggestions, barrier solutions, and field experience to share with SCEIP as representatives on SCEIP’s advisory committee.
  • Retrofit for Energy and the Environment Program (REEP) Pilot Project: Seek funding options for a Sonoma County REEP pilot to test implementation of the forthcoming federal efficiency incentive program.
  • Improving Business Performance: Identify challenges in the marketplace and develop solutions to enable efficiency vendors of all types to work effectively together and with providers of renewable energy services including such issues as developing a variety of business models for flexibility and customer service adaptability, accessing training to become effective clean energy educators, and finding practical solutions to barriers such as deferred maintenance tasks.
